It certainly was refreshing to read about resource (fish) preservation, and a baseline effort to maximize spawning production in an unlikely streambed. I hope your 'hey lets do what we can here' attitude can spread beyond your backyards, to other places like the Salmon River... and potentially anywhere on the planet where mitigation efforts have merit. That's a great thing to share!

Writing to say that our trip this year was incredible as usual. I am still dreaming about it! Thanks to you both for making our trip awesome! The food, the company, the fishing and boat maneuvering was all top notch! I had so much fun getting to know you both and look forward to another trip next year, and maybe even in Hawaii. On my plane ride home, I met a woman named Denise, she lives in Colorado, has family in Medford and they are big into fishing. So of course I pulled out the camera with all of our wonderful pictures from the trip and she seemed very interested. I gave her your website address. The boys came home 2 days ago and STILL have not stopped talking of their time with Arrowhead River Adventures. They are like 2 little kids just recounting every single detail of their AWESOME 4 day excursion. I have really enjoyed hearing about the seals in the river catching salmon and the black bears and cubs and also about hitting class 4 rapids in an aluminum bottom boat and holding on for dear life. Heard that the guides did a bit of a toast after completing the Mule Creek Canyon run!! Shots for everyone!! I want to personally thank you for allowing Matt to use your satellite phone to reach me during this sort of unsure time during my pregnancy. That really helped put his nerves at ease. You were kind to share your minutes. Also, Matt said that he will be life long friends with his guide. His guide's name escapes me right now, but, Matt has just raved about how kind and professional and just down to earth his guide behaved.
